Job description

As a weekend caregiver with SYNERGY HomeCare, you will:

  • Provide attention to clients’ non-medical needs, including companionship and social engagement

  • Assist client with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders

  • Establish communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers

  • Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in caregiving, particularly for seniors or those with disabilities, may be preferred.

  • Knowledge of basic medical care, first aid, and CPR.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy.

  • Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility or other tasks as needed.

  • Ability to handle emergencies and provide comfort to clients in difficult situations.

Schedule:

  • Typically weekends (Saturday and Sunday), but some positions may also include Friday evening shifts.
