Job Description
  1. Looking for a person with excellent customer service skills to perform a variety of clerical tasks in a professional and service-oriented manner under supervision.
  2. Knowledge of clerical and general office procedures and practices; knowledge of spelling, grammar and punctuation; knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications and software.
  3. Skilled in the operation of a personal computer, as appropriate to the assignment; skilled in oral and written communication; skilled in interpersonal relations.
  4. Ability to organize and complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner; ability to perform work requiring accuracy and attention to detail; ability to operate a variety of office equipment.
  5. Serves as secondary contact person for callers and visitors to the OneCard office
  6. Greeting customers, answering the telephone and providing Student ID processes, filing, data entry, printing temporary ID cards and department badges.
  7. Completes data entry using a variety of applications and software.
  8. Picks up and distributes mail to appropriate personnel.
  9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes.
  • Must meet all Work Study eligibility requirements through the Financial Aid Office.
  • Ability to work year-round, including availability to continue employment during the summer months.
  • Availability to assist with New Student Orientation (NSO) programs and support office operations, including staff coverage needs.
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 total credit hours during summer employment (may be fulfilled by taking 3 credit hours in Summer I and 3 credit hours in Summer II)
