Job description

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
     
  • Ability to work in an athletic environment.
     
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
     
  • Enthusiasm for sports and student activities.
     

Job Summary: 
The Intramural Sports Assistant supports the Office of Student Life in the coordination and administration of intramural sports programs and related activities. This position focuses on ensuring the smooth operation of all intramural sports events and activities.
 

Job Duties:

  • Attend and oversee intramural sports league games. 
     
  • Prepare courts & fields prior to games. Set up and break down equipment for intramural games.
     
  • Ensure all equipment is stored properly after use.
     
  • Check players into games and verify their eligibility.
     
  • Operate the scoreboard for basketball games.
     
  • Input scores and other relevant data into the IM Leagues website (intramural software program).
     
  • Pick up and return sports binders to and from the Office of Student Life.
     
  • Attend all intramural staff meetings that are scheduled. 
     
  • Communicate with the Office of Student Life staff about any issues, concerns or problems during intramural games. 
     

Salary Range:
Commensurate with experience
