Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student at the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper . Interns in this position will assist Chattahoochee Riverkeeper with critical work to monitor and maintain watershed health. Their primary duties are to analyze water samples, perform data management and entry, track pollution issues in the field, and assist with general lab maintenance and outreach activities.
Responsibilities
  • Attention to detail in a laboratory setting, good organization and communication skills, and an interest in the environment and conservation.
  • Some lab experience and an interest in Chattahoochee Riverkeeper's mission is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Candidate should be able to work a minimum of 2 days a week for a total of 10 hours.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
