Job description

Locum Physician – Radiology

An established hospital-based Radiology team is seeking a skilled Radiologist to provide ongoing locum coverage starting February 2026. This role offers a mix of onsite and remote work, covering a broad range of diagnostic studies with dedicated support staff.

• Start Date: February 2026 (3–6 month assignment with extension based on need)

• Hospital-based practice with remote work available 2–3 days/week (TBD)

• Team of 8 Radiologists (6 remaining after Feb)

• EMR: Epic / PowerScribe / PACS

• Full support staff and well-structured workflow

• Daily ER volume: ~120 patients/day

• Patient population: adolescent to geriatric

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology – REQUIRED

• Active Massachusetts License – REQUIRED

• ACLS & BLS – REQUIRED

• Ability to perform a wide range of diagnostic studies including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, PET/CT, and Pediatric imaging

• Experience in interventional breast/thyroid FNA preferred

• Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM

• One onsite day per week for Diagnostic Breast work

• Credentialing timeline: 90–120 days (upon completion of applications)
