Job description

At Merrimack Health, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range for this position is $15.92 - $22.29, excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses.
Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.
Eligible employees may also participate in comprehensive benefits, including health coverage, paid time off, and wage increase programs, depending on position type (full-time, part-time, or per diem) and applicable eligibility criteria.
Position Summary: Patient Assistance Liaison, Part-time 24 Hours Per Week, Days 11 am to 7 pm, Lawrence campus
The Patient Transporter assists patients with transfer between different areas of the hospital for testing, admission, discharge, or other reasons. Also, it distributes equipment and supplies to appropriate departments.
  • Assists patients of varying mobility using transfer techniques and/or lifting devices, when needed
  • Maintains cleanliness of equipment and ensures it is stored properly
  • Communicates relevant information effectively to hospital departments and management
  • Works closely with nursing to maintain patient safety

Minimum Qualifications
Required: High school diploma or equivalent, prior medical and/or customer service experience preferred
