Primary Duties

Faculty Support team

  • High energy, enthusiasm and passion for the work at the College of Nursing

The Student Worker is an essential team member in the Office of Faculty Support (OFS) providing administrative support to the College of Nursing, including the following responsibilities: typing and preparing documents and files using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; filing; preparing packets, assisting with events and event preparation, organizing, answering telephones, making deliveries, etc.

Position is year-round, including Summer semester.

DEFINED DAILY OR AS NEEDED TASKS

  • Fax/Mail Sorting and Delivery (Procter Hall)
  • Duplication Requests
  • Digital Conversion of Records
  • Data Entry
  • Maintain Supply Inventory in Mailroom and Kitchen 
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Enrolled at a post-secondary institution or a secondary school.
  • Enrolled at least part-time (one or more credit hours if at a post-secondary institution), except for summer term, or will be a registered student during the next academic term.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • “Enrollment” shall include:
    • The period between two successive terms for which the student is enrolled.
    • The one “off” term in each academic year in which the student is not enrolled. Student employee status may be retained for one additional term following either graduation or withdrawal from enrollment.
