Job description

*Federal Work Study Students Only*

The Keck Center is looking for part time assistants:

A part-time assistant with a Biology focus to work with cells and tissue imaging with advanced microscopy systems.

Requirements:

  • Current UVA undergraduate student who is eligible for Federal-Work Study employment during the academic year.

Preferred:

  • No experience is required and you will receive training, however a working knowledge using computers in the administration of web site and data analysis is preferred.
  • 1st or 2nd year students are also preferred.
Also looking for two part-time assistants with a computer science focus or both computer or BME focused interest.

Requirements:

  • Current UVA undergraduate student who is eligible for Federal-Work Study employment during the academic year.
  • Limited experience using computers in the administration of web site and data analysis is required and you will receive training.

Preferred:

  • 1st or 2nd year students are also preferred.

Compensation is paid in wages of $13.00 to $17.00 per hour.
