Job description

The ideal candidate must possess strong customer service and basic technology skills and be detail oriented. The candidate must maintain a professional mindset. Prior office experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

In order to apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student, enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester and eligible for Federal Work Study, and have the availability to work during office hours, Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • Provide general office and administrative support to Foundation staff.
  • Assist with data entry and maintain accurate records and databases.
  • Support Foundation events through event preparation, set-up, registration, and follow-up activities.
  • Deliver courteous customer service to donors, students, staff, and community members.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise attention to detail.
  • Complete special projects that provide exposure to nonprofit operations including light accounting work, event management, fundraising, and office administration.
