Work from home LCSWs (licensed clinical social workers) help manage the mental and emotional needs of their clients, often through case management, assessments, or triage. The remote version of this job is mostly administrative and rarely provides direct clinical care. Instead, they communicate with the families they serve through phone calls and emails, perform remote tests to assess mental health, document updates for each case, and encourage clients to get treatment or assistance as needed. As a work from home LCSW, you may also work with other social workers to coordinate care for clients or discuss similar cases to determine the best course of action for clients. Work from home LCSWs often focus on specific groups, such as seniors or families with young children.
