• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns related to substance abuse.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize solution-based interventions and are regularly updated based on ongoing evaluations.
• Provide psychotherapy to clients utilizing therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), particularly tailored for substance abuse recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards while protecting client confidentiality.
• Actively participate in treatment team meetings to discuss case management and collaborate on patient care strategies.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and community resources to empower their recovery process.
• Stay abreast of the latest research in mental health and addiction treatment, integrating new knowledge into practice to improve patient outcomes.
• Manage your caseload effectively, ensuring all treatment goals are met while upholding the highest standards of professional ethics.

As an LCSW at Beyond Social Work Center, you will work primarily with adults struggling with substance use disorders and associated mental health conditions. Our clients represent a diverse range of backgrounds, and you will be instrumental in providing culturally competent care that meets their unique needs. Your role will not only focus on their immediate therapeutic needs but also encompass long-term recovery and well-being.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current LCSW licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience, specifically in substance abuse therapy.
• Proven knowledge and application of solution-based interventions in clinical practice.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

• Experience in a virtual therapy setting is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
• Background in group therapy facilitation, crisis intervention, or case management.
