Eramosa International, Inc is a specialist firm providing instrumentation & control and electrical engineering services to the Water and Energy sectors. We offer our clients a holistic approach to developing and implementing technology solutions for process control applications to meet their business requirements. We provide assessment and planning services; conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs: and commissioning and construction support services. We are also able to offer full networking, programming/integration, information technology, and SCADA System solutions through our sister company, Eramosa Engineering, Inc. Our team works with our clients throughout the project lifecycle and provides ongoing support post system start-up.

Our professionals all work from home on a permanent basis, with travel to client sites as required to support project needs. Relocation expenses are not guaranteed but may be offered to select candidates. This position will require the successful candidate to be physically located in Southern California due to client site work access requirements.

We are currently looking for individuals interested in a full-time Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) role within our company. The successful applicant must have experience in I&C and/or Supervisory Controls and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System design, integration, installation, and/or commissioning. The applicant must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal, to respond appropriately to questions posed by clients and contractors. Demonstrated skills and capabilities will include:

  • Basic knowledge of process connections, measurement concepts and how the process affects instruments
  • Experience in the development and/or review of design drawings such as control schematics, installation details, loop diagrams, connection and interconnection wiring diagrams, panel layouts, I/O Lists, etc.
  • Vendor drawing review for conformance to specifications
  • Technical report writing
  • Ability to work remotely and in a team environment

The ideal candidate will also possess some or all of the following:

  • I&C/SCADA system installation and commissioning experience
  • SCADA network architecture design, including hardware and software contract documents
  • SCADA System Best Practices and industry trends
  • PLC/RTU/HMI programming experience
  • Instrumentation application, selection, specification, and installation design
  • Smart instrumentation and networks application and selection experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • Electrical and site safety training (e.g., OSHA 10-hour)
  • Knowledge of Electrical and construction codes and compliance
