Now Hiring: Data Engineer

We're looking for a Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise data solutions. This role will be responsible for building robust data pipelines, integrating diverse data sources, and enabling advanced analytics and reporting across the organization. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure data services, building advanced SQL queries, and modern data engineering practices.

What You'll Contribute as a Data Engineer

Data Architecture & Integration

  • Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse, Databricks, Logic Apps, etc.
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for structured/unstructured data from multiple sources.
  • Implement data models, data lakes, and data warehouses in Azure.
  • Use Azure Databricks for big data transformations & analytics.
  • Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, & performance tuning in Azure SQL/SQL Server.
  • Integrate streaming & real-time data solutions using Event Hubs, Kafka, or Azure Stream Analytics.
  • Ensure data governance, security, & compliance (RBAC, encryption, monitoring, logging). Implement CI/CD pipelines for data solutions using Azure DevOps, Git, ARM Templates, or Terraform.

Power BI Ownership and Optimization

  • Lead the architecture & administration of Power BI across the enterprise.
  • Design & implement scalable semantic models that unify data from disparate systems.
  • Author complex DAX measures & calculated columns to support dynamic reporting needs.
  • Optimize DAX queries for performance and scalability across large datasets.

What You'll Leverage in this Role:

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Finance, or related field.
  • 8+ years of overall IT experience with a focus on data engineering; banking or financial services industry a plus.
  • Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, and Azure Data Lake.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks (PySpark, Python, or Scala); proficiency in Python, Spark, or Scala for data transformations.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization.
  • Experience with big data platforms and distributed systems.
