Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Atrium Health, you will be actively involved in guiding these individuals towards recovery and wellbeing, using a client-centered approach that emphasizes empowerment and support.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • An active and valid license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of California.
  • Proficient in employing solution-focused therapy techniques tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that foster rapport and therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities that help navigate complex client situations effectively.
