Atrium Health and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team in Southampton, New York. This role is fully remote, allowing for significant flexibility and the ability to work from anywhere. The work setting supports a healthy work-life balance, with core hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while offering some flexibility based on patient needs. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments using standardized tools to identify each client’s specific needs and challenges.
• Create, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans encompassing various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches.
• Facilitate online group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops to foster support and skill-building among participants.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention for clients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and effective support.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health topics, promoting understanding and encouraging active participation in treatment options.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with both legal and ethical standards, utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including case consultations and team meetings, to stay informed on the latest therapeutic practices and research.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Experience in conducting mental health assessments and developing tailored treatment plans for individuals.
• Demonstrated skills in delivering both individual and group therapy to a wide range of clients.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, allowing for constructive interactions with clients and team members.
• Strong ethical judgment and a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and digital communication tools.
• Ability to work cohesively in a multidisciplinary environment.

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
