We have a challenging and exciting opportunity for a Document Control Coordinator who is energetic, can multi-task and problem solve, and has the drive and motivation to learn and grow in a fast-paced setting in an expanding business.

This is an entry level position, and we will consider candidates with strong administrative and organizational skills that are eager to learn and start/grow a career.

NOTE: This position is 100% onsite in Mesquite, TX and visa sponsorship is not available.


Primary Purpose:

The Document Control Coordinator will work within the Engineering department to ensure best practices for releasing, approving, and revising engineering drawings, documents, and manufacturing routings. The Document Control Coordinator will maintain the engineering schedule under the direction of Engineering, and will support Manufacturing and Assembly with the necessary documents.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain engineering documents, ensuring revisions, approvals and relevant data are maintained.
  • Generate, maintain and track deviation requests, engineering change requests, engineering change notices and other documentation.
  • Responsible for overseeing data integrity.
  • Create and maintain routings and related data in ERP as directed.
  • Maintain engineering schedule/task list with current status of open items. Run associated reports and communicate to the engineering department and process partners.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. May include:
    • Assist with pilot build and BOM validation for new units.
    • Coordinate new unit launches with corporate and local teams.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Strong computer knowledge with MS Excel, MS Word, and other related processing programs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with PDM/PLM systems and engineering document flow.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing routing maintenance.
  • Experience with SolidWorks and mechanical drafting.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Education/Certification:

Required:

High school diploma or GED.

Preferred:

Certification or Associate's degree, or higher.
