What we do:
The Communications Manager is a versatile corporate generalist responsible for the organizational narrative and internal continuity of Supernal. Following a significant organizational restructure, this role will spearhead the alignment of our internal narrative, safeguard corporate identity, and support executive communication strategies. This individual will bridge the gap between complex engineering achievements and internal operations, ensuring a unified, disciplined voice across our U.S. and Group stakeholders. This position requires combining high-level strategic agility with hands-on content and operational execution.
What you can do:
  • Lead the strategic evolution of Supernal's internal corporate narrative, ensuring organization-wide messaging accurately reflects our focused engineering mission.
  • Draft high-stakes messaging, briefing materials, and corporate talking points for the CTO, CFO, and Board of Managers for internal deployments and thought leadership.
  • Partner directly with core operations, corporate strategy and technical engineering teams to develop and execute cross-functional communication plans that drive capital discipline and milestone clarity.
  • Manage communication assets, including executive presentation design standards, corporate templates, and internal resource libraries to ensure high-quality organizational representation.
  • Coordinate and execute high-impact internal events, including virtual and in-person Town Halls, fireside chats, and technical briefings.
  • Identify storytelling opportunities that recognize employee achievements and reinforce a value-driven, people-centered culture.
  • Write, edit, and produce high-quality, disciplined content for internal channels, executive updates, and corporate platforms (e.g., Confluence; LinkedIn).
  • Interface closely with Hyundai Motor Group (HMG) stakeholders to ensure seamless operational coordination and alignment on Group and corporate-level initiatives.
  • Partner with Legal and HR to support internal change management, reputation protection, and structured organizational communication.
  • Establish and manage communication metrics to analyze internal alignment, engagement, and data-backed channel improvements.
  • Execute additional organizational or administrative projects as assigned.
What you can contribute:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, internal communications or related field
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
  • Aviation, aerospace, tech or startup experience highly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding writing, grammar, editing and proofreading skills
  • Experience with Atlassian Confluence, and LinkedIn preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing organizational needs
  • Familiarity with audio and visual creation
  • Excellent graphic design skills for presentation material preferred
  • Fluency in Korean to facilitate direct collaboration with key stakeholders in Korea considered a plus

Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.

$150,287-$183,685 USD
