Job description

Salary Range/Hourly Rate: Per 2025-27 Educator Agreement 
Start Date: August 2026 
Work week: Monday - Thursday (8:15 AM- 9:15 AM) 
Student Level: Transition 12+






Location: The Transition Education Center is moving into a new space beginning the 2026-27 school year in White Bear Lake, MN (2399 Cedar Avenue, White Bear Lake, MN 55110)
Position Summary:
Performs difficult professional work providing a broad range of teaching and direct instructional services or specific learning programs, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student's ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Building Principal. Continuous oversight is exercised over Paraprofessional. 
Education and /or Experience
Bachelor's degree with coursework in teaching, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
MN Teaching in Work Based Learning (or willing to get the Work Based Learning License/Endorsement)
Special education licensure: ASD and/or DCD-MM or DCD-SP preferred
Valid driver's license in the State of Minnesota. 
Must be able to complete driving training to drive school vehicles on community outings.
