About The Team

What You'll Do

- Take the lead in end-to-end US payroll processing, serving as the primary responsible person for all US payroll operations.

- Manage full-cycle US payroll administration, including data collection, validation, processing, and distribution, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Collaborate closely with internal teams (HR, Finance, etc.) and external payroll providers to ensure seamless US payroll execution and resolve any related issues.

- Handle payroll operations for additional US regions (e.g., key states like California, New York, Texas) and support cross-region payroll coordination within the US.

- Ensure strict compliance with US federal, state, and local payroll, tax, and social security regulations, as well as relevant compliance requirements for US payrolls.

- Support payroll reconciliations, reporting, and audits, with a focus on US payroll records and documentation.

- Partner with HR, Finance, and external vendors to address and resolve payroll queries, with priority given to US payroll-related inquiries.

- Contribute to streamlining and standardizing payroll processes globally, with an emphasis on optimizing US payroll workflows.


What We're Looking For

- Around 3 years of experience in in-house global or US-focused payroll processing, with hands-on experience in US payroll being essential.

- Strong familiarity with US federal, state, and local payroll regulations, tax rules, and social security requirements.

- Exposure to payroll operations in different US states or cross-state payroll coordination is a plus, but not mandatory.

- Solid understanding of payroll compliance and statutory requirements, particularly those applicable to US payroll.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills, capable of managing complex US payroll processes accurately.

- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and payroll vendors in a fast-paced global environment, with the ability to prioritize US payroll tasks.

- Leverages AI coding assistants to drive measurable improvements in productivity.
