  6. Ownership and caring. Inspect plant and mobile equipment for potential issues and identify, report, and assist in resolving equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, material blockages, and other operational concerns to minimize downtime.
  7. Measurement. Monitor stockpiles, aggregate supply, material flow, and plant operating conditions and adjust work activities as necessary to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
  8. Obligated. Support plant housekeeping by maintaining clean and organized production areas, roadways, stockpiles, conveyors, equipment areas, and other workspaces. Perform shoveling, sweeping, and material cleanup as necessary.
  9. Safety. Follow established traffic patterns, lockout/tagout procedures, plant procedures, and safe operating practices while working around mobile equipment, conveyors, hot materials, and other asphalt plant operations.
  10. Humility. Assist maintenance personnel with plant and equipment servicing, repairs, inspections, and scheduled shutdown activities as needed.
