Job description

CNC Woodworking Equipment Reliability TechnicianT.C. Millwork, Inc. – Bensalem, PA

When the shop hums to life, you make sure it stays that way. From the first pre-shift inspection to the last logbook entry, you are the expert who keeps our CNC woodworking machines running smoothly so production never misses a beat.

Day in the life

You start with proactive checks: verifying vacuum integrity, inspecting edge bander stations, listening for bearing wear, and confirming router spindle health. As the day unfolds, you jump on alarms, diagnose faults, swap sensors or drives, and collaborate with operators and programmers to fine-tune performance. Between calls, you schedule PMs, update maintenance records, and review spare parts stock so the next repair is ready before it is needed.

What you will take ownership of
  • Preventative maintenance on CNC routers, point-to-point machines, edge banders, panel saws, and related woodworking equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum, and control-system issues.
  • Rapid diagnosis of machine faults and completion of emergency repairs to reduce downtime.
  • Close partnership with machine operators, CNC programmers, and production management to resolve equipment challenges.
  • Accurate maintenance records, PM schedules, and service documentation.
  • Ordering and managing spare parts to maintain an efficient inventory.
  • Assistance with installations, upgrades, and continuous improvements on equipment.
  • Working safely and following all company policies and procedures.
What you bring
  • At least 5 years of CNC maintenance experience in a woodworking or cabinet manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience maintaining CNC routers and other woodworking machinery.
  • Strong command of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and vacuum systems.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills with servo motors, drives, sensors, and CNC controls.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize independently.
Compensation and benefits
  • Two weeks of paid vacation beginning after your first 90 days of employment.
  • Health insurance coverage.
  • ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan).
  • Paid holidays.
  • Stable, long-term role with a growing manufacturer.
