Wolverine Glass Products is looking for a reliable 2nd Shift Fabrication Expert.

In this role, you will help create high-quality custom glass products for the commercial, industrial, and transportation industries.

Whether cutting, tempering, insulated glass assembly, loading or inspecting, your effort ensures we deliver excellence to our clients.

Schedule:

  • 2nd Shift: 2:20 PM – 12:50 AM
  • Shift Starts: Monday – Thursday
  • Overtime may be available/required based on customer demand.


Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation: Operate and monitor glass fabrication equipment, including cutting tables, tempering furnaces, edging machines, or insulating lines.
  • Material Handling: Safely load and unload glass from machines, racks, and trucks must be comfortable handling fragile materials. All required safety gear will be supplied.
  • Quality Control: Inspect glass for defects (scratches, chips, bubbles) to ensure it meets our customers quality standards.
  • Measurement: The use tape measures, calipers, and other tools to verify precise dimensions.
  • Safety First: Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.


Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50–75 lbs repetitively and stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Skills: Must be able to read a tape measure accurately. If not we can train you.
  • Attitude: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a willingness to work as part of a team.
