Job Functions / Responsibilities

This position will assist in the Study, Analysis, Development and Documentation of Plant Assembly processes. The job also includes assistance in Continuous Improvement Efforts focusing on; Departmental Quality Improvement Projects, Ergonomic Improvement Projects, Line Balance Optimization and Improvements in Overall Departmental Efficiency. It is a temporary position.

         Flexibility to address special projects as they arise

         Assist in continuous improvement efforts focusing on:

o    Departmental improvement quality projects

o    Line Balance optimization

o    Ergonomic Improvement projects

o    Overall departmental efficiency improvements

Qualifications and Skills

The candidate we seek will be currently enrolled in an Engineering Program and have completed their Sophomore year of College.   

Excellent technical, verbal, written and presentations skills. Proven problem solving skills are required. Ability to work in a self-directed environment is preferred. 

  • Must be flexible to work portions of day and evening shift.
  • Must be able to work to work 40 hours per week.
  • Be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • MS office, specifically excel spreadsheets
  • A 3.0 GPA or higher is preferable.
Education

Bachelor's Degree In Progress
