About us

Mother Wolf honors Rome’s mythological origin story of Remus, Romulus and the Lupa Capitolina. With Rome as the singular inspiration for Mother Wolf, Chef Evan Funke’s rich and soulful cooking echoes themes of shepherds, popes, farmers and artisans with wafer-thin wood fired pizzas, hyper-seasonal antipasti and the exceptional pastas for which Funke is renowned. Many of the Roman classics are featured – Carbonara, all’Amatriciana, alla Gricia, al Burro, Arrabbiata and more.

Position Summary

Our Bartenders are the pulse of our restaurant and the center point of energy. The bar and lounge are the first impression from a service perspective and should set the tone for guest experience. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare all alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages. 
  • Restock and maintain par levels of all beverages needed for service.
  • Having complete knowledge of food and beverage menu. 
  • Prepares and serves beverages according to Mother Wolf standards.
  • Uses appropriate garnish and glassware.
  • Oversees cleanliness and maintenance for bar station. 
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
  • Coordinates transfers for any drinking guests that move to the dining room.
  • Abides by all cash handling procedures set by Mother Wolf Management
  • Thoroughly check ID to ensure guests are of proper drinking age.
  • All other duties as assigned. 

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for an extended period of time. 
  • Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
  • May be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift 40 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs. 
  • Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity.
  • Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment, including, but not limited to, cutlery used in the cutting of fruit for garnishes.

Skills/Experience

  • Two (2) years previous high-end restaurant or hotel experience. 
  • Current food handler card.
  • Expertise in alcohol and cocktail making in high volume environments.
  • Experience with food and wine pairing.
  • Excellent listener and communicator.
  • Ability to focus on guest interaction and multitask.
  • Team player and able to anticipate others’ needs.
  • Understands sequence of service and coursing.
  • Positive Attitude.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
