The Opportunity:

West Liberty University is seeking applications for Administrative Assistant - Gary E. West College of Business.This position assists with the daily operations within the College of Business and provides support type services to increase the capacity of the Dean of the College of Business.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage processes and workflow of the department.
  • Manage, instruct, and coordinate all activities of support including, but not limited to:
    • Data entry, supply ordering, scheduling, and clerical support - letters, reports, mailings, memos, and other documents.
  • Provides effective communication and coordination with various groups throughout the department.
  • Assists, manages, and coordinates special projects as assigned.
  • Professionalism via phone, email, and face to face communication.
  • Schedules and attends departmental & university meetings.
  • Additional duties as assigned.


Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Associate's degree, Vocational or Technical School degree.
  • At least two years of previous relevant administration experience is required.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Demonstrated written, verbal, and listening communication skills
  • Team and relationship building skills
  • Professional etiquette
