RWB sells to a diverse and unmatched customer base of professional and sportsman racers, engine builders, enthusiasts, OEMs, automotive and powersports dealers and wholesale distributors. RWB is headquartered in Mentor, Ohio with sales offices and manufacturing operations in strategic locations throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Machine Operator will work in our Multus Department on second shift (2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.) or third shift (10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.).
Machine Operators are responsible for performing operations on assigned machines. This individual performs one or more of the following efficiently:
  • operates production equipment;
  • burrs machined products;
  • inspects parts in process and finished goods;
  • operates CNC mills, CNC lathes, drill presses and other machines where setups and tool changes are required;
  • may operate computer console;
  • uses simple measurement instruments (micrometers, calipers, digital height stands) to check work;
  • makes simple adjustments and notifies Lead for the need for more complex tool or machine adjustments

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Operate equipment properly and safely
• Sets up and operates machine by work order, drawings, templates, or layouts
• Familiar with CNC machine/tool offset adjustments
• Follow work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
• Use of small hand tools
• Cleans/organizes/straightens areas as defined by Lead or Supervisor which may including wiping down the machines, removing trash, sweeping area, scrap bins, skids, boxes and/or other items that result from factory environment
• Will run 2-4 machines
• Performs additional duties and assignments as required

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be able to consistently work second shift.
  • 2-3 years' experience preferred with CNC equipment and/or experience in manufacturing environment. Will train employees with solid work history.
  • Familiar with measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, digital height stands, blueprints, analytical skills .
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Must be able to communicate with both management and non-management associates.
