Contract Duration: 12 Months

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer Consultant to support and maintain a complex statewide enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, firewall administration, network troubleshooting, and security best practices in a large-scale environment.

This role requires a highly skilled professional capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while collaborating across technical teams to maintain secure, stable, and high-performing network operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade enterprise networking solutions
  • Manage and support network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks
  • Troubleshoot network failures, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks
  • Perform network analysis, design, implementation, and ongoing support
  • Monitor network performance and ensure optimal system availability
  • Maintain accurate network diagrams and technical documentation
  • Support secure network operations through cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards
