Job Description

**Two-month contract with possibility to extend -- Job is actually in Winston Salem, per diem is possible for qualified candidates**

Responsible for installing and maintaining all LAN/WAN voice and data infrastructure on classified and unclassified Cisco networks. This includes routers, switches, security and access devices. Additionally, the position is responsible for the following: assisting in the design and implementation of any core switches and routers and Cisco VoIP Unified Communications; assisting in LAN/WAN and Cisco wireless network related additions and changes. 

This includes all hardware and software issues and on-going administration of the corporate network.; implementing and managing aspects of physical and logical security; maintaining accurate records of all maintenance, inventory, and security measures using ITIL processes for voice and data networks; working with branch team members to assess and solve infrastructure challenges. 

 This position provides network infrastructure support to setup, configure, modify, test, maintain, operate, and support Cisco switches and routers, Cisco permission management and administration.

This is a two-month contract position, with the opportunity to extend.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years of significant experience in the engineering, installing, and maintaining of Cisco networks. Education can be substituted on a one year to one year basis with significant experience in the field.
  • Experience in QoS, Palo Alto firewalls, IDS/IPS, Cisco VoIP, and WiFi required.
  • Must possess a current CCNP from Cisco.
