Responsibilities
Peraton is currently seeking Windows System Administrator
Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide enterprise systems support for the Army in a fast paced and demanding environment
  • Build and configure Windows-based systems in support of highly visible mission areas
  • Proactively and efficiently administer systems using enterprise toolsets such as MCM, SCOM, etc.
  • Effectively troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Ensure system configuration compliance with DoW and Army regulations
  • Document technical troubleshooting efforts
  • Participate in rotational on-call duties to provide after-hours support

Qualifications
  • LU
  • 0 years with BS/BA; 4 years no degree
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Experience with Server 2019 administration
  • Experience with physical (Dell, HP, IBM) and virtual (VMware/Hyper-V) systems
  • Knowledge of client/server hardware and software configuration
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Ability to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems
  • Knowledge of networking concepts
  • Ability to create and/or modify scripts (batch, PowerShell)
  • Ability to document technical troubleshooting efforts
  • Proficiency with Windows Active Directory services
  • Familiarity with McAfee Host Based Security System (HBSS)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM)

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
