Job description

  • Support operating systems, virtual machines, storage appliances, and backup environments
  • Troubleshoot issues and assist with change management activities
  • Apply patches and perform routine system maintenance
  • Participate in backup and restoration activities, including backup health checks and database-related restores
  • Provide end-user and system support for infrastructure platforms during core business hours with rotational on-call participation
  • Use monitoring and analytics tools to maintain system performance and identify issues
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to meet compliance and security requirements
  • Follow change management procedures for hardware and software updates
  • Troubleshoot hardware and coordinate repairs with vendors
  • Evaluate new server hardware and software needs and support deployment activities
  • Apply system hardening guidelines and assist Cyber Security Specialists during incident response
  • Maintain inventory records for servers, equipment, and software

Requirements
