U-Haul is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator with a background in Systems Security.
  • For local candidates, this is a hybrid position that requires you to be onsite at our corporate campus in Midtown Phoenix.
  • Local candidates will be required to be onsite 3 days/week.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain patching process for Windows Servers.
  • Work closely with Security Teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.
  • Utilize various tools to monitor systems for patching and vulnerably.
  • Own and maintain Microsoft System Management Server Side Solutions.
  • Provide assistance to other Systems Management Departments as needed.
  • Work directly with system owners to prioritize and report on the status of any remediations.
  • Work with security compliance teams, ensuring solutions adhere to HIPAA, SOX and PCI-DSS requirements.
  • Provide input on solution designs and security policies.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of IT Systems Administration experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Intune family products like WSUS, SCCM, Orchestrator, etc.
  • Prior experience of an Endpoint Protection solution.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • Understanding of authentication technologies such as Active Directory, Entra, LDAP, SAML, and DUO.
  • A solid grasp of Core IT knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, NAT, DNS, OSI Layers).
  • Fluent English and high oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to plan work out in advance, scheduling approval for changes with proper communication.
  • Strong attention to detail while working on large scale complex tasks.
  • Be able to judge priorities and adjust their work accordingly.
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
