Job Description
A Windows Administrator job in Cincinnati, OH is currently available through Belcan. To be considered for this role, you will have technical support experience with Windows 11 endpoints, Microsoft endpoint management tools, vulnerability remediation, and patching compliance. In this role, you will drive endpoint security remediation, patching compliance, desktop configuration standardization, and audit ready evidence across the enterprise. This is a hybrid position working two days per week in the office.
Job Duties:
* Own the Windows 11 desktop security remediation lifecycle, including identification, prioritization, coordination, remediation, validation, and evidence collection.
* Drive monthly patching compliance using SCCM and Intune, including ring strategy, pilot testing, controlled rollout, reporting, and exception tracking.
* Triage Qualys findings, validate installed updates, resolve false positives, and translate vulnerability data into actionable endpoint remediation.
* Work directly with end users to coordinate reboots, maintenance windows, client repair, policy updates, and remediation actions with minimal business disruption.
* Develop PowerShell automation, troubleshoot SCCM and Intune compliance blockers, maintain runbooks, and support critical remediation events when required.
Required Qualifications:
* High School diploma required with vocational, technical, business school training, or equivalent experience.
* Two or more years of technical support, endpoint support, or customer service experience.
* Hands on experience supporting and securing Windows 11 endpoints in an enterprise environment.
* Proficiency with SCCM, Intune, PowerShell, Windows Update troubleshooting, endpoint compliance reporting, and audit evidence collection.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
* ITIL Foundations certification desired.
* Qualys experience preferred, including vulnerability finding review, remediation validation, and evidence documentation.
* Strong communication, organization, documentation, and collaboration skills across Security, Infrastructure, Service Desk, and end users.
