Windows Kernal Driver Engineer

Location: Redmond, WA

Onsite/Remote: Day 1 Onsite at customer location

Device interaction debugging across hardware, firmware, and software boundaries, including ACPI/Power. Familiarity with drivers, Windows services, telemetry instrumentation, and AI diagnostics. Experience with diagnostics pipelines and a "make it observable" mindset. HLK/HCK knowledge, release validation, and build/release coordination.

Core requirements: Expertise in Windows drivers, kernel mode and user mode, system integration, telemetry, automation, and debugging tools. Delivery environment includes HLK compliance, build/release coordination, and troubleshooting. Hardware edge: bring up, debugging hardware/firmware/software interaction. Proficiency in C/C++ and relevant tool ecosystems like Git and low level debug tools.

Responsibilities: Develop, test, and sustain Windows kernel mode and user mode drivers and system services. Debug complex hardware, firmware, and OS interactions. Drive quality, validation, and release readiness (HLK, LKG, PST). Add telemetry and diagnostics for fast, remote issue resolution.
