Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Administrator to maintain and enhance Windows Systems and Infrastructure on-site at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. NASIC is responsible for creating all-source intelligence defining the present and future air, air defense, cyber, space and ballistic missile threats to enable military operations, force modernization, and policy making. This Systems Administrator will be an active part of a team of Systems, Network, and Storage Administrators who collaborate to support the Windows environment. Job duties will include: maintaining file servers, Firewalls, network access, Security Monitoring Systems and system documentation as required, performing periodic maintenance, hardware upgrades and replacement, firmware updates and system configuration changes, data backup library, disks and other magnetic media at the customer's location and off-site storage facilities as required.

This position is contingent on funding.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Active CompTIA Security+ or SecurityX (formerly CASP+) certification
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with 5 Years related experience OR a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience OR a high school diploma or GED equivalent with 9 Years relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Windows Systems Administration
  • Candidate must demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with security compliance and related security scanning products
  • Experience in enterprise backup and restore solutions, storage area network (SAN), and network attached storage (NAS)
  • Experience with scripting using tools such as PowerShell, Perl, Bash, etc.
  • Experience with network administration and related infrastructure
  • Experience with hardware installation and maintenance to include firmware upgrades
Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
