Fish Window Cleaning - the nation's largest and most trusted window cleaning company - is hiring part-time, motivated, outgoing individuals to join our team as Window Cleaning Estimators (Estimate Writers).
This is perfect for anyone who wants to fill their day with productive and rewarding work. Whether you're a stay-at-home parent, retiree, student, or just looking for flexible supplemental income, you'll spend your time out in the field talking to people, building relationships in the community. Some phone work is involved, but most of your day is hands-on and interacting with store employees.
Whether you're new to sales or an experienced estimator, we provide the training, sales scripts, mobile tools, and brand recognition to help you succeed.
What You'll Do
  • Write valid window cleaning estimates using our Fish mobile app.
    • Collect required business information (decision-maker contact, emails, notes, etc.).
    • Visit local businesses within the East Bay (Oakland, Hayward, Union City, Fremont, Newark, Milpitas, San Jose)
  • Follow up on contacts and work toward winning business to build your portfolio of residual commission.
  • Actively contribute to the growth of your commission based business by identifying opportunities and building business relationships.
  • Represent Fish Window Cleaning professionally and generate new commercial business through store-to-store visits.

Schedule & Flexibility
  • 2-5 hours per day, between the hours of 9:30am - 4 pm
  • Any 2-3 days between Mon - Friday

Your attributes
  • Speak conversational english and fluent one of the languages Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Spanish, or Hindi (Optional)
  • Have strong familiarity with the local business community, enabling you to confidently communicate with business owners and staff where non-english speaking is commonly used in daily operations.
  • Are confident and enjoy connecting with others.
  • Build relationships easily and make a great first impression.
  • Are self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently.
  • Have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and car insurance (required).
  • Have a working smartphone (required).

Sales, estimating, or customer-facing experience is a plus - but not required. We provide on-the-job training, sales scripts, and coaching, so you'll have the support you need to succeed.
Base Pay
  • Hourly Rate: $17-$20 per hour (Depending on Experience).
  • Estimate Rate: $1-$2 per valid estimate written (Depending On Experience).
    • Minimum of 4 estimates per hour.

Average hourly earnings: $17-$28 per hour, based on hourly rate + estimate rate (Higher earnings are possible with consistent quality estimate production.)
Earning Potential (In Addition to Base Pay)
  • 10% commission on the 12-month value of customers who sign up for service, paid on top of hourly rate and estimate rate.
    Example: If a customer signs up for window cleaning valued at $500 for one year, you earn $50.00 in commission over the year.

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
