Job description

Xcite Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Window Tinter to support partner dealerships in Savannah, Georgia!

Job Description: This is a full-time, hands-on technician position for a skilled automotive tinter who can independently complete professional window tint installations while maintaining strong quality, efficiency, and vehicle-care standards. The position offers a performance-based commission structure with the potential to earn up to $100,000 annually, depending on productivity, installation volume, and performance. Specific commission details will be reviewed during the interview process. This role requires previous professional automotive window tinting experience and the ability to complete installations independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install automotive window tint and paint protection film on dealership vehicles
  • Prepare glass, painted surfaces, and vehicle panels for proper film application
  • Measure, cut, shape, heat-shrink, and apply automotive film using professional installation techniques
  • Use tint and PPF cutting software, plotters, vehicle patterns, and installation tools
  • Remove and replace existing tint or protective film when required
  • Complete installations with a clean, smooth, and professional finish
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets dealership and company quality standards
  • Identify and correct bubbles, wrinkles, contamination, lifting, alignment issues, or other installation defects
  • Protect vehicle interiors, trim, painted surfaces, electronics, and rear-window defroster lines
  • Meet daily production and vehicle turnaround expectations
  • Maintain an organized work area, tools, materials, and film inventory
  • Communicate vehicle status, completion times, and installation concerns to management
  • Follow all company safety procedures and dealership requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Professional automotive window tint installation experience
  • Ability to complete automotive window tint installations independently
  • Hands-on experience with glass preparation, film cutting, heat shrinking, application, trimming, and final inspection
  • Experience using window tint software, plotters, or computerized vehicle pattern systems
  • Strong knowledge of automotive window film and professional installation techniques
  • Experience removing existing tint without damaging glass, trim, electronics, or defroster lines
  • Ability to maintain installation quality while working efficiently in a production-based dealership environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to professional workmanship
  • Reliable attendance, professional communication, and a strong work ethic
  • Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate dealership vehicles
