What is a wide format?

Wide format jobs typically refer to positions involved in the printing and production of large-scale graphics, such as banners, posters, signs, and vehicle wraps. In a wide format printing position, daily responsibilities often include preparing digital files for print, operating and maintaining large-format printers, and ensuring color accuracy and print quality. You'll also handle various materials such as vinyl, fabric, and rigid substrates, and may perform finishing tasks like laminating, cutting, or mounting prints. Collaboration with graphic designers, sales teams, and installation crews is common to ensure projects meet client specifications and deadlines.
