Join our fast-paced, high-tech printing environment as a Large Format Digital Print Supervisor. Where you'll oversee the daily operations of large format printing production, ensuring jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. If you enjoy hands-on problem solving and supporting a team that produces high-quality printed products, this role is an excellent fit. What You'll Do:
  • Supervise daily large format digital print operations, assigning jobs based on workload, deadlines, and operator skillsets.
  • Coordinate daily production meetings, assign workloads, and adjust staffing based on volume and deadlines.
  • Monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and proactively address potential delays.
  • Perform first-piece inspections and oversee in-process and final quality checks to ensure output meets customer specifications.
  • Evaluate print quality and production efficiency, making adjustments as needed to maintain consistency and standards.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance and support troubleshooting of large format printers and finishing equipment.
  • Train, mentor, and develop operators to strengthen skills, productivity, and career growth.
  • Enforce safety, cleanliness, and proper handling of equipment, materials, and finished products.
  • Maintain familiarity with finishing processes, including trimming, cutting, laminating, sewing, packaging, and related workflows.
What You Bring:
  • Strong background operating large format digital print and finishing equipment.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coordinate, and supervise production teams.
  • Ability to interpret job tickets, safety rules, operating manuals, and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with Mac and PC systems, Windows, Microsoft Office, RIP software, and pre-production file preparation.
  • A hands-on working supervisor role, solutions-focused mindset in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Education and Experience:
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials.
  • 2-7+ years of large format or wide format printing experience.
  • 1-3+ years of supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing/print environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of large format printing equipment (UV, latex, solvent) and RIP software (e.g., Onyx, Caldera).
  • Strong understanding of substrates (vinyl, foam, foam board, acrylic, fabric) and finishing methods (laminating, mounting, cutting).

Physical Requirements:
  • Walking 50% | Standing 50% | Lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying 25-50 lbs. and more. | Ability to stand for extended periods. | Safely move materials weighing 500-750 lbs.| Using manual pallet trucks | Driving, sitting, standing, walking, while operating a fork truck.
  • Ability to lift, move, and position materials throughout the workday and safely operate warehouse equipment for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials.
