Role Summary:

Reporting to the Coordinator, Event Operations and Retail; the primary role of the 50/50 Raffle Sellers is to sell tickets for the 50/50 raffle at all Bakersfield Condors home games (pre-season, regular and playoffs).  The 50/50 raffle is an opportunity for the Bakersfield Condors to fundraise for the Condors Community Foundation and its charitable partners, as well as engage and educate Condors fans of this exciting in-game activity.

Your Focus in this Role:

  • Actively sell, handle, and distribute 50/50 raffle tickets using a mobile handheld during and prior to Bakersfield Condors hockey games
  • Energetic, outgoing, and confident in engaging with Bakersfield Condors regarding the 50/50 Raffle and the Condors Community Foundation in a fast-paced environment
  • Accurately reconcile sales with cash and credit card totals per game
  • Effectively meet and exceed established sales goals
  • Be a Bakersfield Condors ambassador during games and get fans excited about participating in the 50/50 raffle
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Excellent communication skills with an enthusiastic and professional attitude
  • Cash handling experience and management of cash and credit reconciliation a plus
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented to reach or exceed sales milestones
  • Genuine enthusiasm for community involvement within the sports and entertainment world
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays as required
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to climb up and down stairs multiple times during shift
