Job Title: Adjunct Instructor of Chemistry (applicant pool)
Reporting Structure: Department Chair of Natural Sciences Dean of CSEM & Provost
Division: Department of Natural Sciences
Job Summary: This is a part-time Adjunct teaching position in the Department of Natural Sciences.
Duties/Responsibilities:
โ€ข Successful candidates will be expected to teach at the undergraduate level.
โ€ข Preferred candidates for the position must hold a Master's degree or a Ph.D. degree in a chemical science.
Required Skills/Abilities: Familiarity with learning management systems (Canvas, Blackboard, etc.)
Education and Experience:
  • Applicants should have a Master's degree or a PhD in a chemical science.
  • Applicants should have a strong commitment to teaching at a liberal arts school. Evidence of successful teaching at the college level is required.
  • The candidate must be prepared to affirm and support the Christian and liberal arts mission of Bethune- Cookman University.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
