About The Role
Western Security Bank is hiring for a Treasury Client Relations Specialist. The Treasury Client Relations Specialist position provides support for all electronic banking products including but not limited to, Net Teller, online accounts and other electronic products and services. This position completes a range of duties of varying abilities to include but not limited to; researching, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to all Treasury Management (TM) products and services. The Treasury Client Relations Specialist I position will provide initial training, support, and ongoing servicing for all electronic banking products for internal and external customers. This position is responsible for meeting critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
The Treasury Client Relations Specialist I will work independently, as well as in cross-functional teams with various levels of knowledge. These cross-functional teams assist internal support staff to accomplish position/department/customer goals within regulatory/policy guidelines. Will also serve as a liaison maintaining a professional, customer service-oriented demeanor in all contact.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Technical Skills:
  • NetTeller:
    • Responsible for the set-up of new NetTeller customers.
    • Provides thorough NetTeller support.
    • Reviews dormant/closed NetTeller accounts.
    • Prepares required documents for Net Teller setups.
    • Responsible for NetTeller maintenance.
    • Responsible to research complex Treasury Operations issues.
  • Cash/Treasury Management:
    • Responsible for a basic understanding of our Treasury Management products, services, and benefits they provide to our customers.
  • Technical Support:
    • Ability to research, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues within Treasury Operations systems and products.
    • Responsible for maintaining and accessing Synergy Scanning for all Treasury Operations documents.
    • Responsible for setting up all basic Treasury Operations products and services for both internal and external customers.
  • Customer Relations:
    • Responsible for adhering to Western Security Bank's Mission, Vision, and Service Principals.
    • Provide superior internal and external customer service. Must demonstrate self-governance, courtesy, and respect toward both internal and external customers.
    • Must be knowledgeable on all aspects of the Treasury Operations products and services. Must communicate requests and product information in a manner that is understood by the customer.
    • Is required to demonstrate a "customers come first" approach when prioritizing tasks.
    • Provides and maintains a professional, courteous, service-oriented relationship with all internal and external customers.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • All employees are accountable for compliance with applicable laws and regulations when performing their job duties. Each employee is expected to participate in required training to become familiar with the legal and regulatory requirements affecting his or her job responsibilities. It is the affirmative duty of each employee to carry out these responsibilities at all times in a manner that complies with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
  • Responsible for assisting with acquisitions/mergers.

  • Keeps management appropriately informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
  • Participate in Community Service and Bank sponsored activities that serve and support the mission and values of Western Security Bank.
  • Provide superior internal and external customer service: must demonstrate self-governance, courtesy, and respect toward external customers as well as internal customers (all organization personnel).
  • Complete required bank and OnCourse training courses within assigned time frame(s).
  • Represent Western Security Bank in a professional manner which includes a professional image, confidentiality, a positive attitude, good attendance, punctuality, flexibility and adaptability in meeting bank and customer needs.
  • Keep work area tidy and maintain customer privacy.
  • Attends and participates in meetings as required.
  • Additional duties as requested or assigned.

About You
The Treasury Client Relationship Specialist position requires a minimum of one year of previous banking experience. Previous deposit service experience preferred.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position. We offer an extensive benefits package that includes, but is not limited to medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Coverage is available to employees and their eligible dependents in accordance with our written plan documents. We also offer a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) plan and paid holidays. PTO accruals begin at .0745 per hour worked for our part time employees up to a maximum accrual of 240 hours per year for certain Full-Time employees. PTO accruals are dependent on position, status (Full time or Part time), and years of experience in accordance with our PTO policy. Most Full-Time employees are also offered 6 paid holidays and Part Time employees are offered pro-rated paid holidays.
