Position Overview:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in our healthcare team by providing direct patient care and supporting our nursing staff in delivering excellent medical services. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients, assist with their daily needs and contribute to their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide compassionate care for patients, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
  • Assist with patient mobility, including transferring and positioning patients as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols and ensuring proper sanitation.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to address patient needs and provide updates on patient status.
  • Support nursing staff with medical procedures and documentation as required.
  • Respond promptly to patient calls and requests for assistance.
Qualifications:
  • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Nebraska.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrated the ability to work well under pressure and handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
