This position plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality mental health services that empower our clients to lead fulfilling lives. Work Environment

Wellpower's operational hours extend from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, which enables you to create a schedule that aligns with your life while still meeting client needs effectively. As part of a community health clinic, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that emphasizes holistic approaches to mental health care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough client assessments and evaluations to devise individualized therapy strategies.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions through both telehealth and in-person sessions, tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of individuals, families, and groups.
  • Employ a variety of therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.
  • Maintain precise clinical records to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards, while contributing to the development of best practices in the delivery of mental health care.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay updated on the latest advancements in mental health treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will primarily consist of diverse clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and familial issues. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your insights and interventions will play a crucial role in enhancing client outcomes and promoting resilience within the community.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is strongly preferred.
  • An active and unrestricted LMHC license in the state of Florida.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, ideally within a clinical context.
  • Demonstrated expertise in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is advantageous.
  • A strong understanding of mental health laws, and ethical guidelines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with a diverse clientele.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and other related technologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a community health setting or with underrepresented populations is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with telehealth practices and a proven record of delivering remote therapy.
  • Specialization in chronic mental health conditions and crisis intervention techniques.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, with opportunities for bonuses and annual salary increases.
