Physician (MD/DO) | 3-Day Corporate Wellness Clinic | $180/hr

Location: Wilmington, DE 19809.
Contract Type: Independent Contractor (1099).
Onsite Pay: $180 per hour.
Telemedicine Lab Review: $140 per hour.
Clinic Dates: October 6, 7, and 8.
Hours: 8:00 AMโ€“5:30 PM.

Availability for all three dates is strongly preferred; however, Delaware-licensed physicians with partial availability are encouraged to apply.

About the Opportunity

A workplace wellness program is seeking an experienced Physician (MD/DO) to provide preventive health services during a three-day employee wellness clinic in Wilmington, Delaware.

The physician will conduct general wellness assessments, review employee health histories, provide preventive care guidance, and recommend appropriate follow-up when needed. This is a focused outpatient assignment with a clearly defined scope of services and no responsibility for insurance billing or long-term patient panel management.

Appointments, administrative coordination, and onsite clinical support are provided so the physician can concentrate on patient care.

Following the onsite clinic, the physician will also complete separately scheduled telemedicine consultations to discuss laboratory results with participating employees. Telemedicine lab-review services are compensated at $140 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct preventive wellness examinations.
  • Review medical histories, current concerns, and relevant risk factors.
  • Provide individualized health education and preventive care recommendations.
  • Discuss screening results and appropriate next steps.
  • Refer patients for additional evaluation or ongoing care when indicated.
  • Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation.
  • Conduct scheduled telemedicine laboratory-result consultations.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and professional clinical standards.
Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted Delaware physician license.
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board-certified in family medicine, internal medicine, occupational medicine, or another relevant primary care specialty.
  • At least three years of clinical experience following postgraduate training.
  • Current BLS certification required (CPR certification).
  • Comfortable practicing independently within a defined outpatient scope.
  • Strong interpersonal, patient-education, and customer-service skills.
  • Proficient with electronic documentation and basic computer systems.
  • Able to reliably commute to Wilmington, DE 19809.
Technology Requirement

The physician must bring a personal laptop or tablet that can securely connect to the company-provided electronic charting system. Login credentials and system guidance will be provided.

Physicians may provide services individually or through a professional corporation or other authorized legal entity, subject to applicable licensing and contracting requirements.
