As a Wellness Coach, you will play an important role in creating a safe, recovery-focused environment while building positive relationships with residents and empowering them to thrive in their communities.

What You'll Do

Working under the direction of the Assistant Director, the Wellness Coach utilizes Psychiatric Rehabilitation principles to support recovery, wellness, and community integration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Foster a supportive, recovery-oriented environment that promotes growth and independence.
  • Build trusting relationships with residents while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Provide encouragement, coaching, and emotional support aligned with individual recovery goals.
  • Assist residents with developing and maintaining skills that support daily living and community participation.
  • Support individualized recovery plans and help residents achieve personal goals.
  • Encourage self-advocacy, empowerment, and active participation in the recovery process.
  • Collaborate with residents, families, treatment providers, and team members to coordinate supports and services.
  • Promote physical, mental, and emotional wellness through person-centered care.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services-related field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Commitment to recovery-oriented and person-centered care.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Experience supporting individuals with behavioral health or mental health needs.
  • Ability to remain flexible, compassionate, and professional in a residential setting.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive movements as needed.
