JOB PURPOSEThe Visiting Program Administrator, Health and Community Wellness serves as a full-time12-month academic professional and has the primary responsibility for providingoversight, leadership, and supervision for grant projects and specialinitiatives within the Center for Food Systems, Nutrition Security, and HealthIntegration and the broader Health and Community Wellness team at theUniversity of Illinois Extension. This includes providing guidance, support,and direction to staff hired as part of Extension grants and specialinitiatives related to planning and implementation of statewide and regionalprograms, and serving as a positive representative for the Center withExtension staff, key stakeholders, and partners to facilitate programobjectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in public administration, public health, community health, family and consumer science, nutrition, human development, or related field. Candidates with a bachelor's degree in progress may be considered for interviews, but degree must be completed by hire date.
- Two (2) years of experience facilitating and guiding the work of teams.
- Experience meeting project goals and deliverables.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience with University of Illinois Extension.
- Experience in direct supervision.
- Experience supporting a remote workforce.
- Valid driver's license.
SPECIFICJOB INFORMATION: Two full-time positions are available.

This isa security-sensitive position. Comprehensive background checks, including but not limited to a criminalconviction information check, a CANTS check, and a review of the Registered SexOffender list, will be conducted.

The expected start date is assoon as possible after the closing date. The previously determined salary range for this position was$58,000 to $73,000. We strive to provide a competitive salary while taking intoconsideration internal equity, candidate experience and qualifications, as wellas budget constraints. The final salary offer will be determined through acalculation involving these elements. It is not typical for an individual to beoffered a salary at the top of the full range for this position.
