Position Overview
Body Techniques is seeking a skilled and service-oriented Massage Therapist to join our wellness team at Google's Kirkland campus as an Independent Contractor.
As a trusted partner in Google's employee wellness initiatives, Body Techniques helps create opportunities for employees to recharge, reduce stress, and support their overall well-being. In this role, you'll provide high-quality massage services while contributing to a positive, professional, and welcoming experience for Google employees.
We're looking for someone who is dependable, adaptable, and passionate about delivering exceptional care in a corporate wellness environment.
What You'll Do
  • Deliver personalized massage sessions tailored to individual client needs and preferences
  • Create a comfortable, professional, and supportive experience for Google employees
  • Utilize sound clinical judgment to recommend appropriate treatment approaches
  • Maintain treatment areas, equipment, linens, and supplies in excellent condition
  • Represent both Body Techniques and Google with professionalism and integrity
  • Consistently arrive prepared and on time for scheduled shifts
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and program coordinators
  • Demonstrate initiative and independently resolve day-to-day challenges as they arise
  • Follow all site-specific procedures and wellness program guidelines

Qualifications
Required
  • Current massage therapy license in good standing as required by Washington State
  • Active professional liability insurance
  • Minimum of three years of hands-on massage therapy experience
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable using technology and web-based systems in a professional setting
  • Reliable, organized, and responsive to communication
Preferred
  • Prenatal massage certification (24+ hours of continuing education)
