Position Summary

This is an individual contributor role that is onsite and client-facing, based in Miramar, FL, with frequent travel required to support multiple plan sponsor locations.

The Onsite Health & Wellness Program Coordinator is a clientbased, cobranded role responsible for coordinating and delivering comprehensive wellness initiatives for a plan sponsor with a diverse employee population. Working onsite and in close partnership with the plan sponsor's Employee Benefits & Wellness team, this role supports a culture of health and wellbeing across the organization.

The employee wellness program is designed to meet employees where they are on their individual paths to wellness and to encourage sustainable behavior change. Programs may address physical, mental, and financial wellbeing through education, onsite activities, and connection to available resources.

Success in this role requires a high level of personal accountability, adaptability, and initiative, along with the ability to build trust and rapport across all levels of the organization. The Coordinator brings energy, consistency, and a peoplecentered approach to engaging employees in wellness initiatives, meeting individuals where they are on their journey to wellbeing. Satisfaction in this role comes from knowing your contributions directly support improved engagement, healthier lifestyles, and a more resilient workforce.

This role reports to an internal wellness leader and plays a critical role in translating wellness strategy into coordinated, highquality onsite experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Coordination & Delivery

  • Coordinate and oversee logistics for onsite employee wellness events and initiatives.
  • Assess wellness activities to determine how programs should be combined, sequenced, and delivered, including offerings provided by community partners and wellness vendors.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans and timelines, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are consistently met.
  • Collaborate with the plan sponsor's wellness team to design, facilitate, and evaluate wellness programs that educate and influence employees to lead healthier lifestyles.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

  • Establish strong relationships with plan sponsor stakeholders and partner closely with the internal wellness leader to support overall wellness strategy.
  • Support a wellness champion network by engaging employees and leaders across worksites to promote participation and peer-driven engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, including nutritionists, pharmacists, behavioral health clinicians, health educators, providers, and wellness service vendors.
  • Serve as a wellness subject matter resource and provide support or training to sales or client-facing partners, as appropriate.

Data Interpretation & Communication

  • Present and interpret health-related data prepared by analytics or clinical teams, including health risk assessments, organizational assessments, claims utilization data, employee surveys, and biometric screening results.
  • Translate data insights into clear, understandable messages that help leaders and employees understand wellness trends, opportunities, and program impact.
  • Utilize preventive health guidelines and evidence-based wellness strategies to support population health goals.

Employee Engagement & Education

  • Educate employees on available health and wellness resources, including employer-sponsored programs and relevant community offerings.
  • Demonstrate a positive, approachable, and engaging style that meets employees where they are on their wellness journey and encourages participation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting healthy lifestyle behavior changes in areas such as nutrition, physical activity, weight management, stress management, or tobacco cessation.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in event planning and coordination, with a focus on corporate or large-scale events.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities, timelines, or projects simultaneously.
  • Experience presenting information, programs, or educational content to groups.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power Point, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in health insurance, healthcare services, wellness consulting or client/account management.
  • Wellness-related certifications (e.g., Wellness Alliance or Chapman Institute)
  • Certified Event Planner (CEP) or equivalent professional certification
  • CPR / First Aid / AED Certified
  • Bilingual or multilingual communication skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree; Master's degree in Public Health or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 - $132,600.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
