FT Nurse Practitioner (NP) | Midtown Manhattan | No Weekends

Location: Midtown Manhattan, New York, NY.
Employment Type: Full-Time, W2.
Pay Range: Starting from $130,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Benefits: PTO, sick time, and 401(k).
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM.
No weekends. No on-call.

A Different Kind of NP Role

Photon Medical Group is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to support an onsite employee health program within a financial firm in Midtown Manhattan, New York, NY.

This position is ideal for an NP who wants a steady weekday schedule and enjoys a mix of preventive care, point-of-care testing, vaccines, wellness education, and onsite medical response.

The clinic is located within a professional corporate setting and supports employees during the workday. This is not a traditional high-volume primary care or urgent care role.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to onsite medical situations involving employees.
  • Administer vaccines (including flu and COVID) pursuant to standing orders/protocols and documentation requirements.
  • Perform rapid point-of-care testing, including COVID, flu, strep, glucose, and cholesterol testing as needed.
  • Support biometric screenings and preventive health services.
  • Provide lifestyle coaching related to nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress, and long-term wellness support to employees in accordance with program guidelines.
  • Recommend appropriate follow-up care or referrals.
  • Manage patient appointments and workflows.
  • Maintain and manage onsite medical equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure proper storage, restocking, and compliance with policies.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to protocols.
  • Maintain confidentiality of health information and comply with applicable privacy and security requirements (HIPAA and related policies).

Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New York
  • FNP-C, FNP-BC, or ACNP certification preferred.
  • Active BLS and ACLS certification (CPR).
  • Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, or a similar setting
  • Knowledgeable with common health concerns such as blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, and preventive care
  • Interest or experience in employee wellness, lifestyle coaching, diabetes prevention, or occupational health
  • Strong communication, documentation, and computer skills
  • Ability to work independently in an onsite clinic setting
  • Reliable commute to Midtown Manhattan
