MedStar Women's Health is seeking qualified Women's Wellness Nurse Practitioner to join our regional service line. We have a need at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. Be a part of a nationally recognized health system and the largest provider of healthcare services in the Washington, DC/Baltimore region. Minimal Qualifications
Education
  • Master's degree Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program approved by the Maryland State and/or DC Board Examiners of Nurses. required
Experience
  • 1-2 years 2 year experience as a nurse practitioner. May require additional experience in specialty assigned. (Ideal candidate is either a certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or a Nurse Practitioner with extensive women's health experience.)
Licenses and Certifications
  • NP - Nurse Practitioner - Licensed in the District of Columbia Maryland or Virginia or any combination as required based on work location(s). May require specialty license based on location. required and
  • CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required and
  • Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
  • Verbal and written communication skills. Must have good problem-solving and independent judgment skills. Basic computer skills preferred.

This position has a hiring range of
USD $115,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Hr.
