Job Description
BJC Saint Luke's Health System is seeking a highly skilled PRN Registered Nurse for our Cardio Wellness Clinic on the Plaza to provide flexible, professional nursing care within our clinic setting.
In this role, you will act as a clinical expert, managing everything from high-level telephone triage and patient flow to hands-on clinical interventions. Whether working autonomously or as a team lead, you will ensure our patients receive the specialized education and coordinated care that defines Saint Luke's excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Coordination: Manage patient flow, perform phone triage, and schedule emergent appointments to optimize clinic operations.
  • Advanced Nursing Care: Provide subject matter expertise in patient assessment, IV insertion, medication administration, and the entry of admission orders.
  • Education & Advocacy: Serve as the primary resource for patient and family learning, providing tailored advice and care recommendations.
  • Leadership & Support: Delegate tasks to clinical staff based on scope of practice and provide versatile coverage for MA, LPN, or office duties as needed.
  • Quality & Standards: Maintain meticulous documentation, manage expired samples, and uphold a professional demeanor with exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
  • Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Experience: Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinic environment.
  • Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and a commitment to patient-focused care.
